Will of John Hartery In re In the name of God Amen I John Hartery of Cape Broyle being sick in body but of sound and perfect memory thanks be to God for the same do make and declare this my last will and testament in manner and form falling First I bequeath to my two sons Edward and Michael Hartery my Fishing Room to be equally divided between them and to cast lots for the same I bequeath to my son Michael the field on the waterside of the path leading to Brien’s stage and I bequeath to my son Edward the plot of Ground on the Northeast of said path and I bequeath to my son Edward the plot of land known as the marsh by Patrick Brien’s and I bequeath to my son Edward all my farm adjacent to the main line of Road except the upper corner which I bequeath my daughter Mary Murphy Bounded from the juniper tree to the bunch of fir trees and I bequeath to my son Michael all that strip of land from the road leading to Edward Harterys to the Main line of Road but if Monica should ever want to build a house to give her a strip of the Northeast part and I bequeath to my son Michael my dwelling House stable and the Ground adjoining and to my two sons Edward and Michael my horse for each to have an equal share of said animal Cornelius Hartery whom I appoint sole executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made In witness whereby I have hereunto set my hand and seal the 18th day of September in the year of Our Lord 1900 John Hartery The above instrument of one sheet was at the date thereof declared to us by the testator John Hartery to be his last will and testament and he then acknowledged to each of us that he had subscribed the same and we at his request sign our names hereunto as attesting witnesses in his presence witnesses Cornelius Hartery John C.
