Last Will and Testament of
Ann Hart of St. John’s
Widow
deceased
This is the last will and Testament
of me Ann Hart of St. John’s widow.
First I hereby
revoke all other and former wills by me at any time made.
Second I
desire that all my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses shall
be first paid.
Third I appoint Donald Morison of St. John’s
Solicitor Executor of this my will.
Fourth I bequeath to my
Granddaughter Annie Hart now residing with me all my
household goods and furnishings including the piano and all my clothing
and personal effects.
Fifth I direct that my Executor shall invest a
sufficient sum to produce an annuity or yearly sum of forty dollars and
shall pay the said yearly sum to my Granddaughter Annie Hart until she
shall attain the age of twenty one years. Upon her attaining the age
of twenty one years I direct that the said principal sum shall be paid
to said Annie Hart by my said Executor.
Sixth I give
devise and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my Estate monies
and effects to my said Granddaughter Annie Hart and to her brother George
Hart in equal shares between them and I direct that my Executor
shall be at liberty to apply the income arising therefrom towards the
support and maintenance of my said grandchildren during their minority.
Witness my hand at St. John’s this twenty sixth day of December A.D. 1896.

having first been read over and explained and all being present at same
