Last Will and Testament of
James Harris Sr. of Bonavista
Planter deceased.

      I James Harris of the town of Bonavista declare this to be my last will and testament.

1 I give and devise unto my son James Harris my fishing room with all thereto belonging for his life only.

2 I give and devise my fishing after my son James Harris death unto my grandsons Lewis and Leonard Little to be equally divided between them.

3. I do will and devise unto my son James Harris my dwelling house and land on which it is situated with all my other land consisting of gardens and meadows situated at different places in this town.

4. I do bequeath unto my son James Harris all my furniture consisting of household goods generally.

5. I do bequeath unto my son James Harris the sum of $2400.00 twenty four hundred dollars

6. I do bequeath unto my daughter Mariah Ann Little the sum of $1200.00 twelve hundred dollars.

7. I do bequeath unto my daughter Mary Jane Clouter the sum of $1200.00 twelve hundred dollars.

8. I do bequeath unto my grandson Louis Little the sum of $100.00 one hundred dollars

9 I do bequeath unto my grandson Leonard Little the sum of $100.00 one hundred dollars.

10 I do bequeath unto my grand daughter Alexandra Lucy Little the sum of one hundred dollars $100.00.

11. I appoint my son James Harris and my friend Robert Brown Senr as executors of my will

In witness whereof I James Harris have hereunto set my hand this eleventh day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety two. (Sgd) James his X mark Harris. Witness our hands (sgd) Robert Brown Senr. (Sgd) John Brown. (Sgd) Philip Templeman Subscribed by the testator in the presence of us and at his request have signed as witnesses of the same
