Last Will of Charlie B. Hamlyn late of
St. John's, Painter, deceased.
This is the last will and Testament of me Charley
B. Hamlyn of St. John's Painter. 1. I give devise and bequeath my
house and land on Collier's Lane to my daughter Ada W. Hamlyn and my son Edwin in equal shares. 2. I give devise and bequeath my house on Cabot
Street to my wife for her life if she so long remains unmarried and after her
death or marriage to my daughter Alice Margaret. If my said daughter Alice
Margaret shall die before my said wife I give & devise the said house on
the death or marriage of my said wife to my sister Alice Maude Hamlyn. 3.
I give my piano to my daughter Ada. 4. All other my furniture and
revocable chattels I give to my said daughter Ada and my son Edwin in equal
shares.
5. The money in the Savings Bank in the name of my daughter
Ada I give to my wife for the support of my daughter Alice.
Witness my hand this 8th day of May. AD 1902. Charlie B.

and declared by the said testator as and for his last will and testament in
the presence of us who at his request and in his presence and in the presence
of each other all present at the same time have hereunto subscribed our names
as witnesses. Ellen Godden. W. E. Wood.
I certify that the foregoing is a correct copy of the last will of Charlie
B. Hamlyn.
