Will of George Guppy Senior
from Newfoundland will books volume 9 pages 555-556 probate year 1912

In re
      George Guppy Senior         deceased.

      I, George Guppy, of Port Rexton, in the electoral district of Trinity, hereby revoke all former wills and codicils made by me and declare that this is my last will.
1. I appoint my nephew John Guppy, of Port Rexton aforesaid and his brother George Guppy, to be the executors of this my last will.
2. I bequeath the following Pecuniary legacies: -
(a) To my sister, Anne Fowlow, wife of Philip Fowlow, the sum of one hundred dollars provided she survives me but should she predecease me then I bequeath the said sum of one hundred dollars to those of her children who survive me, to be divided equally between them.
(b) To the children who survive me of my late sister Mary Fowlow, deceased, the sum of one hundred dollars to be divided equally between them.
( c) To the children who survive me of my late sister Elizabeth Wills, deceased, the sum of one hundred dollars, to be divided equally between them.
(d) To the children who survive me of my late sister Catherine Bartlett, deceased, the sum of one hundred dollars to be divided equally between them.
3. All the rest residue and remainder of my property both real and personal, moneys, security for money, goods, chattels and effects, of whatsoever nature and kind and wheresoever situate, I give devise and bequeath to my said nephews John Guppy and George Guppy absolutely to be divided equally between them. In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my hand at Trinity this 19th day of July A.D. 1911 - George Guppy senr - Signed by the above named George Guppy, as his last will, in the joint presence of himself and us, who at his request, and in such joint presence have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.    Witness Fred J Morris clerk.
