Last will and Testament of
Mary Jane Green of Trinity N.D.
Widow deceased
This is the last will and Testament
of me Mary Jane Green of Trinity in the Northern District
of Newfoundland widow.
First. I give devise and bequeath to my daughter
Chatfield Julia Segar Weaver, wife of the Reverend
William Weaver, her
Executors administrators and assigns all my household furniture and effects
now belonging and that may hereafter belong to me in the Parsonage at
Trinity or elsewhere, the sum of twenty dollars to be paid as a first
claim out of my Estate to each of my other daughters viz: Sophy
Stainburne and Mary Olivia P. Smith, their
and each of their Executors administrators and assigns.
Second. I give
devise and bequeath to all of my children (share and share alike) all
my silver and plate, as well as all the interest arising and accruing
from my general estate whether in money stock or otherwise, whether principal
or interest and their respective Executors administrators and assigns
for ever.
Third
I appoint my two sons Charles Waygood Green and Edward
Segar Green Executors
to this my will - and I hereby revoke all former wills by me at any time
made and declare this to be my last will and Testament In witness whereof
I have hereunto set my hand this Twenty third day of November A.D. one
thousand eight hundred and eighty nine at Trinity aforesaid. (Sgd) Mary
Jane Green. Signed by the said Testatrix in our presence who in her presence
and at her request and in the presence of each other have hereunto set
our names as witnesses on the day and year and place above mentioned
(sgd) John Cross. (Sgd) John S. Collis.
I certify the foregoing to be a correct copy of the last will and Testament
of Mary Jane Green deceased
