Will of John Joseph Grangel In re This is the last Will and Testament of me John Joseph Grangel of Topsail Road in the Electoral District of St. John’s West, in the Island of Newfoundland Farmer. I give devise and bequeath unto my son Patrick Grangel all and singular my lands houses property and effects of every description, that I may die possessed of, to hold the same in his own right absolutely and forever. Subject nevertheless to the following terms and conditions. First, that he shall maintain and support my daughter Mary
Ellen until
such time as she shall marry, when all obligation for such support
and maintenance shall cease. I hereby nominate and appoint the said Patrick Grangel as sole Executor of this my said Will. In witness whereof I the said John Joseph Grangel have hereunto my hand subscribed and set at St. John’s aforesaid this 25th day of August Anno Domini One thousand nine hundred and five.

by the said John Joseph Grangel as and for his
last Will and Testament in the presence of us, both present at
the same time, who in his presence and in the presence of each
other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses. (Having
first been read over and explained to the said Testator who appeared
