Will of Jane Elizabeth Graham
from Newfoundland will books volume 8 pages 416 to 418 probate year 1908

In re
      Jane Elizabeth Graham          deceased.

      This is the last will and Testament of me Elizabeth Graham of St John’s widow made this 16th day of September A.D. 1907.

Firstly I hereby specifically revoke all former wills and Testaments by me made.

Secondly: I give devise and bequeath to my dear daughter Hannah Graham all the moneys and securities for money of which I shall die possessed and specially my Five shares or whatever the number may be in the Newfoundland Steam Tug Company or however the same may be described To Hold the said moneys securities for moneys and the said shares to the said Hannah Graham to her sole and absolute use and behoof.

Thirdly: I give devise and bequeath to my said daughter Hannah all my farm land and premises situate on the Waterford Bridge Road known as “Summervale” together with the Dwelling Houses Stables Barns Outhouses and all other Buildings and erections on the said land and all Horses and Cattle of whatsoever description and all Farming and Agricultural Implements and all Crops and produce of what nature or kind soever which may be in and upon the said land at the time of my decease To Have and To Hold the said Dwelling House Land and Premises and all the said Buildings and erections unto the said Hannah Graham during the term of her natural life and without impeachment of waste And I will and desire that after the decease of the said Hannah Graham the said Farm land Dwelling House and premises with the appurtenances shall be sold for the highest price which may be obtainable therefor after due advertisement of the same, and the proceeds of the said sale after payment thereout of all expenses of such sale and the Conveyance of the premises to purchasers, shall be held by my surviving Executor in Trust to divide the same amongst my grandchildren then surviving (children of my son William and of my daughter Jane Stevenson) share and share alike per capita

Fourthly I appoint my said daughter Hannah Graham and James A.W.W. McNeily of St. John’s Barrister at Law to be the joint Executors of this my will. In witness whereof I have hereunto my hand and seal subscribed and set at St. John’s aforesaid on the day and in the year first hereinbefore written.
