In re THOMAS GOSSE.       DECEASED.

In there year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred and Seventeen December twenty sixt
In the name of God Amen I Thomas Goss X My last Will and Testimony house and out houses is to be left to my two ungest sons Daved and thomas and what land is a bout the house she can make four equakel Shears of be tween them and the land in to wattes pond make four even schears be tween them and the woods land on Lemerhent Road four shears be tween them and the fishing property be tween the fore of them and my schare of the boat and ingine be tween my two ungest sons thomas and daved After my death Exetor Henry Lacey
Witnesses Samuel Field and John Yoe X
the horse is to be left be tween my sones fillip and Thomas and Daved and help Samuel to due his worke.

Note: The wills in those will books are NOT actual wills. They are hand-written copies of a, "last will and testament," written by the court clerk, after the death of the testator, when the executor presented them to the court for probate. The court clerk didn't list the signatures at the bottom, he (or she) just put them in the book in whatever order they were in, on the original document, no spacing most of the time, no punctuation. The originals were kept by the executor.

We who have typed these wills, have made every effort to include all the errors that were on the microfilm, in order to avoid destroying the integrity of the originals, where ever they may be.
