Will of Robert Gosse from Newfoundland will books volume 6 pages 589-590 probate year 1900 Last will and Testament of In the name of God Amen. I Robert
Gosse Planter in the Harbor of Spaniard’s Bay in Conception Bay Newfoundland
being of perfect mind and memory of my body and knowing that it is appointed
for all men once to die do make and ordain this my last will and Testament
that is to say principlely and first of all I give to Eliza my beloved
wife sixteen hundred dollars with my dwelling house and all outhouses
with all my land and all my furniture and cattal to be hers during her
natural life providing always that she hold the name of the late Robert
Gosse of Robert widow but immediately after marriage or death the aforesaid
money and property is to become my two sons namely George Alexander
Gosse and Martin Gosse to be equally divided between them the western part
of said land to be George A. Gosse and the Eastern part with dwelling
house & outhouses on said land situated at North side of main line
of Rode with half the said land at see side and half store that is now
on said land the other half to be my son George A. Gosse the
store and waterside to be for both their use. I certify the foregoing to be a correct copy of the last will and Testament of Robert Gosse deceased D. M. Browning (Listed in the margin next to this will the following)
