Will of Gilbert Thomas Gordon Second Lieutenant, First Newfoundland Regiment, #64, from Newfoundland will books volume 12 page 483 probate year 1923

In re
      GILBERT GORDON.          DECEASED.

At Edinburgh the fifteenth day of December Nineteen hundred and sixteen the following Deed relative to the disposal of the Personal Estate of the deceased Second Lieutenant Gilbert Thomas Gordon was presented, along with inventory of said Personal Estate, by Messrs. Davidson & Syme, W.S., 28 Charlotte Square, Edinburgh.

This is the last Will and testament of me Gilbert Thomas Gordon Lance Corp: of the First Newfoundland Regiment, I give and bequeath all my estate real and personal of which I may die possessed or entitled to unto my Mother Mrs Margaret Carmichael Gordon at present residing at Craig House Morningside Drive Edinburgh in the Kingdom of Scotland and I appoint William Elgin Chartered Accountant of 3 Albyn Place Edinburgh Executor of this my last Will and testament and I hereby revoke all former Wills and Codicils. (Sgd) GILBERT T. GORDON.

Signed by the Testator on this the twenty eighth day of September 1914 in our presence who in his presence and the presence of each other have hereunto set our names as witnesses.
