     ARCHIBALD GOOBY.     DECEASED.

THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me Archibald Gooby of the Township of LONDON, in the County of Middlesex, and Province of Ontario, made this fourth day of June, in the year of our Lord, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three.

  1. I direct the payment of all my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses as soon as conveniently may be after my decease.

  2. I give, devise and bequeath all my property of every nature and kind in the manner following, that is to say:-
    To my mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Gooby, 57 Flower Hill, St. John's, Newfoundland.

  3. My estate consists of the following:-
    (a). All Government Treatment Allowances due me from the Government of Newfoundland.
    (b). Savings Account in the Bank of Nova Scotia, St. John's Nfld.
    ( c). Dwelling house, store and lot on Munroe St. St. John's, Nfld., Sold A.G.
    (d). 100 shares of St. George Coal Fields, now in the custody of my mother.
    (e). 5 shares of Maritime Moving Pictures Ltd., now in the custody of my mother.
    (f). My share, being 1/2 of the buildings and farm of 158 acres at Glenview, Placentia Bay, Nfld. Sold Arch Gooby 26/12/25
    Bungalow and Garage LeMarchant Rd Motor Car etc
    (g). My share, being ½ of the machinery at 57 Flower Hill, St. John's, Nfld.    Sold    Arch Gooby 26-12-25
    (h). The furniture at 57 Flower Hill Bungalow, St. John's, Nfld.
    (i). Sun Life Insurance Policy for $1000.00

  4. I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint R. H. Tait Ray Gushue, Barrister at St. John's, Newfoundland, Executor of this my Will.

WITNESS my hand the day and year first above written.

Signed, Published and declared by the above named Testator, Archibald Gooby, as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us, both present at the same time, who at his request, in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses to the execution hereof.

      Before the death of my Mother or Father or Survivor, I wish them to have whats remaining of the Property willed, to their daughter that cares for them best in their old age.
