My dear Sir,
In appointing you my executor I feel assured you will kindly act in that capacity until you settle my affairs with my son Alexander Glen to whom I leave all I may possess at my death that is to say my landed property situated at Bay Bulls district of Ferryland and any money I may have at my credit in the Union Bank of this city

You will please pay my funeral expenses out of the money I may have in the Union Bank and all lawful claims against me.

Messrs Little & Kent know all about my Bay Bulls property. It is worth about five hundred pounds sterling in my opinion.
