In re
      Robert George          deceased.

      This is the last will and Testament of me Robert George of Hearts Content district of Trinity Bay in the Island of Newfoundland I am perfectly sound in mind though not enjoying perfect health

  • I give devise and bequeath unto my two Daughters Bennett and Amelia George, whatever monies I may be possessed of at the time of my decease equal parts to each, after my Funeral expenses are paid
  • I give and bequeath unto Bennett and Amelia George aforesaid my Dwelling House now occupied by me, but all household Furniture I bequeath to my Daughter Amelia except the contents of Bedroom now occupied by my Daughter Bennett which is to hers
  • and my Granddaughter Ellie George     I give permission    To live in my home as she lived with me as long as she remains unmarried.
  • I give and bequeath to Bennett and Amelia aforesaid that parcel of land lying to westward of my Dwelling House, bounded on the west by land owned by Jonas Seward on the south by Crown lands on the East by public Road on the north by public Street
  • I give an bequeath to my Grand Daughter Ellie George that parcel of land bounded on the north by land owned by Fred Wright on the west by Drain running through on the East by waterside on the south by Public Street
  • I give and bequeath to Bennett and Amelia that parcel of land on the opposite side bounded on the south by land owned by Jonas Seward, on the north by Drain running through on the East by water side on the south by public Street
  • I give and bequeath to Bennett and Amelia aforesaid that piece of land which was occupied for a meadow on the back of stable with backyard and outhouses thereon
  • I give and bequeath to my Daughter Mary Ann Rowe the Garden used as a potato Garden on the back of Stable, also that parcel of land used as a meadow, bounded on the East by Jas Farnham, on the west by Drain running through on the north by Thos. Pearcey on the south by Drain running through
  • I give and bequeath to my son Fredk George all that parcel of land not under cultivation by me bounded on the south by Wm Cumby on the East by my Grandson Wm George on the north by Mary Ann Rowe on the west by Robert Burgess
  • I give and bequeath to my Grandson William George all that parcel of land that his father Joseph George occupied bounded on the East by Ambrose Sewly on the west by Mary Ann Rowe on the north by Fredk George on the south by upper corner Jas Farnhams fence also all my mechanical Tools consisting of planes, saws, and chisels
  • I give and bequeath to my son Fredk George and my Grandson William George all the water side
  • I give and bequeath to my Great Grand child Gwendoline Susanna George that parcel of land occupied as a Cabbage Garden situated between House occupied by Wm George and my store
  • I give and bequeath to my Grand child Mark George Rowe the Bed stead and mattress that I occupied in my room and I declare this to be my last will and Testament cancelling all other wills heretofore made by me at any time
