Last Will and Testament of
Nicholas Galway of St. John's
Cooper deceased.
This is the last will and Testament of me Nicholas
Galway of Saint John's in the Island of Newfoundland Cooper.
First:
I give devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife Ellen Galway all
my household furniture, monies and securities for monies, goods chattels and
effects of whatsoever description I may die possessed.
Second I also give devise
and bequeath unto my said wife all my right title and interest in and to all
that piece or parcel of land with dwelling houses and other erections thereon
situate on Hamilton Street in the town of St. John's aforesaid and held by
me under lease from one George McCrawley.
Third. I appoint
my son Michael Galway my sole executor of this my last will
and Testament
And fourthly I hereby revoke all former wills and codicils which
may have been made by me. In testimony whereof I have hereunto signed my name
at St. John's aforesaid this 20th day of June A.D. 1893. (Sgd) Nicholas
Galway Signed by the said Testator in our presence who in his presence at his request
and in the presence of each other have hereunto signed our names as witnesses.
