Will of William Furze, from Newfoundland will books volume 15 page 236 probate year 1930

IN RE.          DECEASED

WILLIAM FURZE

The last will and testament of William Furze Merchant of Fogo.
I William Furze of Fogo in the electoral district of Fogo in the island of Newfoundland, being of sound mind and memory, do hereby make publish and declare this as my last will and testament herein disposing of all my property of every kind real and personal tangible and intangible in possession and in expectancy, which I own or may be entitled to possess at my decease or have a right to dispose of by will, hereby revoking any and all other wills heretofore made by me at any time.
I hereby nominate and appoint Fred R. Earle of Fogo to be the executor of this my last will and testament.
I direct my executor to pay all of my just debts as soon after my decease as conveniently may be and the costs of administration.
I give devise and bequeath to my wife Flora Furze all my property of every description and all my right title and interest in such property consisting of my business premises Arcade Shop, dwelling house and all its contents stores, barns, wharves and everything in connection with the same.
I give and bequeath to my wife Flora Furze of Fogo the goodwill of my business carried on by me at Fogo, and all the stock in trade, fixtures and effects belonging thereto, and all accounts standing to the credit of said business, including my business account at the Bank and all my rights in contracts connected with the said business. My said wife to assume and discharge all liabilities in respect of said business existing at the time of my decease, whether arising out of the contract or otherwise.
I give and bequeath to my wife Flora Furze all money or monies that may be deposited in the Bank of Nova Scotia or any other Bank in my name or in any joint account.
The last will of Wm Furze continued.
I give devise and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my property of all kinds, real and personal not otherwise disposed of in this will to my wife Flora Furze, the sole legatee under this my will, to be disposed of as she may deem convenient or proper.
In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal in the town of Fogo this 5th day of January in the year one thousand nine hundred and thirty.

The above instrument was at the date thereof declared in the presence of us by the said testator therein mentioned, to be his last will and he at the same time signed the same in the presence of us, and we thereupon at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other, sign our names thereto as witnesses believing the said William Furze to be at the time of subscribing our names as witnesses as aforesaid of sound mind and memory
