from Newfoundland will books volume 8 page 602 probate year 1909

In re
      John McL. Fraser          deceased.

      I John McL. Fraser of St. John’s N. F. Manufacturers Agent do make this my last will and Testament. To Dr. Nutting Stuart Fraser. I bequeath my roller top desk my gold watch and chain the binocular hanging in my bedroom and my Webster dictionary. To Hu Hoyd Fraser I bequeath my Fire proof safe & letter press, and the binocular glass hanging in my office. To Catherine Isabella Fraser (Boston) I leave one hundred dollars. When death comes to me I desire a plain black coffin, the plainer the better, and – Collier to conduct the funeral to the spot ready for me at Riverhead. After payment of funeral expenses and any debts I may leave, I leave all my Cameras and photographic outfit & stock for the benefit of Marion E. Fraser, Forossy.     I would suggest that such portion of this stock as my trustees deem suitable be offered to Gray & Goodland Dicks Co S. E. Garland and ors at a reduction of say 20% the amount realized to be for the benefit of the above named Marion E. Fraser. My private effects of every kind & not named above my Executors are to deal with just as they deem fit and I appoint as Executors of this my last will and Testament Nutting Stuart Fraser and Hugh Hoyles Fraser. Dated at St. John’s Newfoundland this Twenty sixth day of January 1905    John McL Fraser To Maude Fraser I leave one hundred & fifty dollars J McL Fraser    August 9/07
