Will of Joseph A. Francis In re This is the last will and testament of me Joseph Francis of Gravels Port au Port but at present of St. John’s Customs Officer I give devise and bequeath to my nieces Katie Francis and May Francis daughters of my late brother Alonzo Francis deceased and Josephine Francis all the money and property of every nature and kind and wheresoever situate of which I may die possessed in the proportion of two thirds thereof to the said Katie Francis and the remaining one third to the said May Francis for their sole and absolute use. I appoint Michael P. Gibbs of St. John’s Solicitor Executor of this my will. St. John’s May 10, 1899. Joseph A. Francis. Signed by the said testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses Robert A. Reid, M.P. Gibbs. (Listed in the margin next to this will the following)
