Will of Thomas Jenkins Fowlow, from Newfoundland will books volume 15 page 94 probate year 1930

IN RE.                    DECEASED

THOMAS JENKINS FOWLOW.

This is the last will and testament of me Thomas Jenkins Fowlow of Trinity East in the Northern District of the Island of Newfoundland Fisherman.
I hereby revoke all wills made by me at any time heretofore, and appoint Frederick Somerton Stipendiary Magistrate of Trinity to be my executor and direct that all my debts and funeral expenses shall be paid as soon as conveniently may be after my decease.

  1. I give and bequeath unto my wife Elisabeth Fowlow my dwelling house household furniture and cabbage garden.
  2. I give and bequeath unto my son Louis Fowlow the sum of Five Hundred dollars over and above his share of the balance of my money hereafter mentioned.
  3. I give and bequeath unto my Grandson Samuel Fowlow the sum of one hundred dollars.
  4. The balance of my money to be divided equally amongst my wife Elisabeth Fowlow and our following sons and daughters viz: Pearce, Elsie, Ethel, Louis, Alexander, Hilda, Archibald, Leona and Gertie.
  5. As I have advanced the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars each to my daughters Ethel and Hilda I direct that these amounts be deducted from their shares and divided equally amongst my wife and the other children mentioned in section Four.

In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal at Trinity East this nineteenth day of July in the year of our Lord One thousand nine hundred and twenty eight.
