John Fowlow deceased.
I John Fowlow (of Joseph)
of Prace Cove Trinity east declare this to be my last will and testament
1.
I give and bequeath to my sons William Henry Charles & Joseph Fowlow their heirs and assigns the “Schr Promise” traps
seins boats and all implements for the prosecuting of cod and other fisheries
or whatever trade they wish for to engage in.
2. I give and bequeath
to my sons Wm Henry Robert & Joseph Fowlow their
heirs and assigns my land at Hunch Back for to be divided
equally amongst them
3. I give and bequeath to my sons Wm
Henry Charles Robert & Joseph
Fowlow their heirs and assigns my fishing room
4. I give and
bequeath to my son Joseph Fowlow his heirs and assigns a piece of land
purchased from Wm Fowlow (son of George)
5. I give and
bequeath to my son Joseph Fowlow his heirs and assigns
my dwelling house furniture etc.
6. I give and bequeath to my son William
Henry Fowlow his heirs and assigns the sum of Four hundred and
seventy five dollars. $475.
7. I give and bequeath to my son Charles
Fowlow his heirs and assigns the sum of Four hundred and seventy
five dollars. $475.
8.
I give and bequeath to my son Robert Fowlow his heirs & assigns the
sum of Four hundred and seventy five dollars $475. and if my son Robert owe to my son Joseph any debt at my death it must be paid to Joseph from
the amount left Robert
9. I give and bequeath to my
son Joseph Fowlow his heirs and assigns the sum of Four hundred & seventy
five dollars $475.
10 I give and bequeath to my daughter Mrs Peter
Rex her heirs and assigns the sum of Four hundred and seventy
five dollars $475.
11 I give and bequeath to my daughter Mrs Albert Hudson her
heirs and assigns the sum of Three hundred and twenty dollars $320.
12.
I give and bequeath to my daughter Gertrude Fowlow her
heirs and assigns the sum of Four hundred and seventy five dollars $475.
13. I give and bequeath to my son Charles Fowlow his
heirs and assigns that piece of land where his house is built.
14. I
give and bequeath to my son Wm H. Fowlow his heirs and assigns that piece
of land where his house is built purchased from Mark Reed.
15. I leave my daughter Gertrude Fowlow and child a home under my roof
with my son Joseph Fowlow as long as she remains single
16. All the rest residue, and remainder of my real and personal estate,
I give, devise and bequeath in equal shares to my said son Wm
H. Fowlow Charles Fowlow Joseph Fowlow Mrs Peter
Rex Mrs Albert Hudson & Gertrude Fowlow their heirs and
assigns forever, after all expenses is paid.
17. I appoint my said son
Charles Fowlow and my said friend John P. Fowlow, executors of this my
last will and desire that they shall not be required to give any security
for the performance of their duties. In witness whereof, I John
Fowlow (of Joseph) have hereunto set my hand and seal this eight
day of November in the year of our Lord 1909. John

time declared by him to be his last will and testament. Witness our hands,
