Will of Henry Fowler Last Will and Testament of In the name of God Amen I Henry Fowler of
Chamberlains Conception Bay in the Island of Newfoundland, Farmer: being weak
in body, but of perfect mind and memory and knowing that it is appointed for
all men once to die, do make and ordain this my last will and Testament, that
is to say principally and first of all I give and recommend my soul into the
hands of Almighty God that gave it and my body I commend to the earth to be
buried in decent Christian burial by the side of my dear departed wife in the
Methodist grave yard, nothing doubting but at the general resurrection I shall
receive the same again by the Mighty power of God. And as touching such worldly
estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life: I give devise
and dispose of the same in the following manner and form:
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal as my last will and Testament this Twenty third day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety five. (Sgd) Henry his x mark Fowler (LS) Signed Sealed and delivered in the presence of us Wm Swansborough. (Sgd) Joseph Fowler (of John) I certify the foregoing to be a correct copy of the last will and Testament of Henry Fowler deceased Registrar (Listed in the margin next to this will the following)
