Will of Henry Charles Ford
from the Newfoundland will books volume 10 pages 30 & 31 probate year 1913

In re Henry Charles Ford      deceased.

This is the last will and Testament of me, Henry Charles Ford of 373 Southside St. John's Clerk. I appoint my mother Emily Jane Ford executrix of this my will. I bequeath all my goods, belongings and effects whatsoever to my mother. I bequeath all monies due to me by any life insurance company or now deposited in any bank to my mother. In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this fifth day of March A.D. 1913 - Henry Charles Ford -
Declared and subscribed by the testator in the presence of the undersigned witnesses who in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed their names hereto as witnesses. Henry Uphill     Chas. E. Hunt

Note: The wills in those will books are NOT actual wills. They are hand-written copies of a, "last will and testament," written by the court clerk, after the death of the testator, when the executor presented them to the court for probate. The court clerk didn't list the signatures at the bottom, he (or she) just put them in the book in whatever order they were in, on the original document, no spacing most of the time, no punctuation. The originals were kept by the executor.

We who have typed these wills, have made every effort to include all the errors that were on the microfilm, in order to avoid destroying the integrity of the originals, where ever they may be.
