Will of Jessie E. Foote In re Bell ISLAND Nfld May 28/16 This is the last will and testament of me Jessie E. Foote at present residing in Bell Island, Spinster, and I do hereby revoke all former wills by me made. I give, devise and bequeath to Doris McKay, one hundred dollars and one gold ring. I give devise and bequeath to Evelyn Foote one hundred dollars and gold watch and chain. I give devise and bequeath to Louisa wife of my brother Charles, one dozen silver tea spoons, and one dozen silver table spoons. I give, devise and bequeath to my sister Emily, two hundred dollars and oil painting of my mother’s father, one third of a dozen of silver table spoons with initials, and one dozen silver tea spoons, and two gold rings I give devise and bequeath after all debts and other expenses have been paid all the rest of my property of what kind soever, including house, and money, bank deposits, and other wise and Government debentures, of which I shall die possessed to my brother Charlie I appoint George M. Johnson (Judge of the Supreme Court) executor of this my will. Dated at Bell Island this twenty eight day of May Anno Domini nineteen hundred and sixteen. Jessie E.
