Will of Hugh Fitzpatrick Last will and Testament of The last will and testament of Hugh Fitzpatrick, Great Placentia N. F. I Hugh Fitzpatrick considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory (thank God) do make and publish this my last will and testament in the following form (that is to say) I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Monica ORiely, that sum of money which is due after my death from a London Life insurance company on account of a Policy held and paid by me in connection with the Anglo American Telegraph Company Limited. I also bequeat to my said beloved wife all my personal estate goods and chattels now in my possession. I also hereby appoint Edward P. Morris Q.C. St. John’s N. F. and Thomas Fitzpatrick Great Placentia N. F. as Executors to this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this thirteenth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety eight. (Sgd) H. Fitzpatrick. The above instrument consisting of one sheet was now here subscribed by Hugh Fitzpatrick the testator in presence of each of us and was at the same time declared by him to be his last will and Testament and we at his request signed our names hereto as attested witnesses.
