Will of Thomas Fitzgibbon, from Newfoundland will books volume 15 page 223 probate year 1930

IN RE.          DECEASED

THOMAS FITZGIBBON

IN THE NAME OF GOD. AMEN.

I, Thomas Fitzgibbon of St John's in the island of Newfoundland, gentleman, being of sound and disposing mind hereby revoke all former wills and codicils by me made and declare this is my last will.

  1. I appoint Reverend Robert St. John of St John's to be executor of this my will.
  2. I bequeath the following pecuniary legacies;
    (a) To Monica Bonia the sum of $1000.00
    (b) to my niece Chris Fitzgibbon $200.00
    (c) To Mother Mary Benedict of Hoylestown $100.00
    (d) To Stephen Deupe at present an ecclesiastical student in Ireland $100.00
    (e) To my niece Nell, sister of Joseph Fitzgibbon at present residing in the United States $100.00
    (f) To Alice Bonia $50.00
    (g) To my nephew Edward Fitzgibbon at present residing in Boston, Mass $150.00
    (h) To Edward Fitzgibbon son of my nephew Joseph Fitzgibbon $100.00
    (i) For masses for the repose of the souls of my wife and myself $300.00
  3. I bequeath my premises on Water Street consisting of house and store to my son Gerald together with all my furniture contained therein.
  4. I bequeath the entire residue of my estate to my son Gerald (Transcriber note: Initials in the left and right hand margins JAP  TFG  RASJ)

AS WITNESS I have hereto set my hand this 16th day of April A.D. one thousand nine hundred and twenty eight.
