Will of Henry Fisher Sr.
from Newfoundland will books volume 6 pages 32-33 probate year 1893

Last Will and Testament of
Henry Fisher Sr. of Bonavista
Planter deceased.

      This is the last will and Testament of Henry Fisher Senior of Bonavista Planter I give and bequeath to my three sons Charles Fisher Henry Fisher, and John Fisher the whole of the waterside premises on the Cape Shore to be equally divided between them. The fish flake now in possession of my son Charles shall continue to be his and the flake now in possession of Henry and John shall continue to be theirs to be equally divided between them. The dwelling house and store shall remain in possession of Charles Fisher together with the lands adjoining and also the piece of meadow land eastward of the said store and John Fishers house.
I desire that the land on which my son John Fishers house stands shall be his, and the land now in his possession shall be his.
I desire that the land on which my son Henry Fisher's summer house stands shall be his. I desire that the meadow land near Henry's summer house be divided equally between my sons Henry Fisher and John Fisher and that the potato land in the said meadow now occupied by Charles Fisher shall continue to be his.
I give and bequeath to my Grandson Thomas Fisher son of Thomas the potato land lying to the north east of white Rock. I give and bequeath to my sons Charles Fisher, Henry Fisher and John Fisher the potato land near Bayleys Cove Pond lying to the east of Fitzgeralds land to be equally divided.
I give and bequeath to my son Charles Fisher a piece of meadow land situated in Bayleys Cove, bounded on the South west by the road and on the east by Joseph Swyer's land.
I give and bequeath to my grandson Thomas Fisher son of Thomas a piece of land situated in Bayleys Cove and bounded on the south east by John Swyer's land and on the north east by the Road.
I desire that the old dwelling house in Bayly's Cove be divided into five parts, the one fourth part of the building which is mine I give to my son Charles with his own one fourth, the remaining half of the main building I desire to be equally divided between my sons Henry Fisher and John Fisher. The small part or addition on the west end & which was built last I will and bequeath to my Grandson Thomas Fisher of Thomas
I give and bequeath to my son Charles Fisher my bed and bedding, my clothes and all my furniture.
The large picture I give and bequeath to my daughter Charlotte Wiffen.
I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Mouland the sum of Forty dollars cash.
To my daughter Charlotte Wiffen Forty dollars cash. To my son Henry Fisher Forty dollars cash.
To my son John Forty dollars cash and the remainder of my money to my son Charles Fisher.
I desire that my property and money shall be handed over to the various legatees so soon as convenient after my death.
I appoint my sons Charles Fisher and Henry Fisher my executors to this my last will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 20th day of July A.D. 1889 - (sgd) Henry his X mark Fisher Senr. (LS) Signed and sealed by the said Testator as his last will in presence of us, who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses the same having been read over and explained.
