In re
John Finn deceased.
This is the last will and Testament
of me John Finn of Saint John’s Newfoundland Cooper I hereby revoke all
other wills by me at any time heretofore made I direct that my debts and funeral
and testamentary expenses be paid I give devise and bequeath unto my wife Louisa
Finn all that piece or parcel of leasehold land together with the
Dwelling house thereon now occupied by me and a tenant situate on the north
side of Job Street To Hold the same unto my said wife absolutely for ever
I
give devise and bequeath unto my Executrix hereinafter named all That piece
or parcel of land together with the dwelling house thereon comprising two tenements
situate on the East side of Barter’s Hill In Trust for the sole use and
benefit of my said wife Louisa Finn during her life and after her death for
the sole use and benefit of my niece Mrs. William Mullins absolutely
forever
I give devise and bequeath to my nephew James Finn all that piece or
parcel of land together with the building thereon comprising four tenements
situate on the North side of Finn’s Lane To Hold the same unto my said nephew James
Finn forever.
And all the rest of my Estate lands houses furniture
moneys securities for moneys goods chattels and effects whatsoever and wheresoever
situate or being I give devise and bequeath to my said wife Louisa
Finn absolutely
forever and I appoint my said wife Louisa Finn to be the Executrix
of this my will. Dated at St. John’s aforesaid this 30th day
of March Anno Domini One thousand nine hundred and eight (sgd) John
his x mark Finn Signed (by making his mark) Published
and declared by the said testator John
Finn as his last will and testament in our presence who in his presence
and the presence of each other all being present at the said time have hereto
subscribed our names as witnesses the said will having been first read over
and explained to the said John Finn who seemed perfectly to
understand the same F.A.
