Will of Frederick Fifield, from Newfoundland will books volume 15 page 79 probate year 1930

IN RE.                     DECEASED

FREDERICK FIFIELD

THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me Frederick Fifield of Saint John's Newfoundland, in the county of            made this twenty-fifth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty nine.
I hereby revoke all Wills made by me at any time heretofore. I appoint my son, James Fifield to be my executor, and direct that all my debts and funeral expenses shall be paid as soon as conveniently may be after my decease.
I GIVE AND BEQUEATH my house on Gill Street Nos 16 & 18 after my death is to be rented until there is $300.00 provided in the bank for my son Arthur for his burial and also his headstone also he is to receive fifty cents per week out of the rents for pocket money and when the $300.00 is deposited in a bank he is to receive interest. Upon the death of my son Arthur I give and bequeath the aforesaid house to my son James Fifield and my daughter Mrs Florrie Downs share and share alike. To Frederick Downs I give and bequeath my bedstead and appurtenances. To my daughter Mrs Florrie Downs I give and bequeath my large trunk just as it stands and sewing machine. To my son James Fifield I give and bequeath my small trunk and sea chest and all contents of both including all my carpenters tools. For his trouble as executor I give to my son James Fifield the sum of forty dollars.
I request that this will is not to be published in the papers.
