Will of Bridget Feehan from Newfoundland will books volume 5 page 633-634 probate year 1892

Last will and testament of
Bridget Feehan of St. John's widow deceased
.

In the name of God Amen. I Bridget Feehan of St. John's in the Island of Newfoundland widow of Pierce Feehan late of St. John's aforesaid master mariner deceased do make publish and declare this paper writing to be my last will and testament and I hereby declare null and void all former wills or testaments by me made or executed. First I give devise and bequeath unto my son Peter Feehan the dwelling house I now live in with the ground attached thereto and also five shares in the Commercial Bank of Newfoundland
Second. I give devise and bequeath unto my daughter Theresa Feehan the dwelling house with the ground attached thereto situate on the north side of the Military Road and at present in the occupancy of Mrs. James Hearn and also two shares in the St. John's Dock for her sole use and benefit free from the debts & control of any husband she may have I also give devise and bequeath unto my said daughter Theresa Feehan the interest and profits arising out of four shares in the Commercial Bank of Newfoundland during her life time and after her death the said four shares in the said Commercial Bank of Newfoundland are to become the property of the children of my said son Peter Feehan share and share alike.
Third I hereby nominate and appoint my said son Peter Feehan and Thomas Mitchell executors of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto my hand and seal subscribed and set at St. John's aforesaid this 8th day of May A.D. 1886. (Sgd) Bridget her x mark Feehan (LS) Signed by affixing her mark sealed published and declared by the said Bridget Feehan as and for her last will and testament in presence of us and each of us who have in her presence at her request and in presence of each other subscribed our names as witnesses ??? ???? Feehan. (Sgd) Thos Mitchell.
I certify the foregoing to be a correct copy of the last will and testament of Bridget Feehan.
