Will of Selina Jane Feaver
from Newfoundland will books volume 10 pages 514-515 probate year 1917

In re
      Selina Jane Feaver          deceased.

      This is the last will and Testament of me Selina Jane Feaver of Saint John’s Newfoundland
      First I give, devise, and bequeath to my daughter Barbara Ann Feaver, all and whatever right title and interest I may possess to and in that piece or parcel of land situate on the north side of Gower Street in the Town of Saint John’s Newfoundland and bounded as follows on the North-west by property of Peter Winsor and extending thereby forty seven feet or thereabouts, on the north-east by land of Tarrahan’s Estate and extending thereby forty-one feet or thereabouts on the East by land of Peter Winsor leased to Mrs. Mitchell and extending thereby ninety-six feet six inches of thereabouts on the south by Gower Street aforesaid and extending thereby twenty-five feet or thereabouts, and on the west by a lane extending thereby one hundred and ten feet three inches or thereabouts (This aforesaid piece or parcel of land having been under lease by my husband William Feaver from Peter Winsor of St. John’s aforesaid Yeoman of date the 18th day of February A.D. 1875 at the annual rental of Forty-four dollars, and for the term of ninety-nine years to commence and be computed from the 1st day of May A.D. 1893 and since bargained sold, assigned, and transferred and set over by deed by the said William Feaver unto me Selina Jane Feaver his wife having deeded to me Selina Jane Feaver all the right title and interest belonging to him William Feaver.)
Secondly I give, devise, and bequeath to my daughter Barbara Ann Feaver the dwelling house known as 162 Gower Street together with the forge and all other erections thereon with all ways watere easements profits privileges and appurtenance to the same belonging or in anywise appertaining, or therewith held, used, occupied enjoyed, or reputed as part or parcel thereof.
      Thirdly I give, devise, and bequeath to my daughter Barbara Ann Feaver all the household furniture goods, chattels, and effects whatsoever in the dwelling house situate as aforesaid and known as number 162 Gower Street.
      Fourthly I give, devise, and bequeath to my daughter Barbara Ann Feaver all the tools, machinery and appliances now in the forge situate on the said hereinbefore described piece or parcel of land.    I appoint my daughter Barbara Ann Feaver my sole and only Executrix In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand by affixing my mark this thirtieth day of October in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and twelve. (Sgd) Selina Jane her X mark Feaver     Signed by the said Selina Jane Feaver the Testator by affixing her mark thereto in our presence and who in the presence of each other at the same time subscribed our names as witnesses (Sgd) W. Charles White-    Rector Newfoundland Cathedral. (Sgd) F.R. Hefferand Physician and Surgeon St. John’s.
