Will of Edward Evans from Newfoundland will books volume 7 page 206 probate year 1902 The last Will of I, Edward Evans of Grand Bank in the District of Burin being of disposing mind and memory, do make and publish this, my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me at anytime made. I bequeath to my beloved wife, Caroline W. Evans the dwelling house, with furniture, gardens, outhouses store and land with all landed interests in Grand Bank. Also dwelling house situate at King's Bridge St. John's with garden attached left to me by will from my dear brother Thomas P. Evans; and the rents accruing from the same, I also give and bequeath to my said wife my shares in the Burton's Pond Nas Co; also all monies of which I may be possessed at my death. All the foregoing I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Caroline W. Evans for her sole use and benefit for ever. And I hereby appoint Doctor Allan Macdonald of Grand Bank and Edward G. Hunter of St. John's the executors of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 7 day of May in the year of our Lord 1898 Ed.
