      Mary Ann Ellard          deceased.

      In the name of God, Amen This is the last will and Testament of me Mary Ann Ellard of St. John’s, Newfoundland Spinster. I give my soul to God and my body to be decently buried according to the Rite of the Holy Roman Catholic Church of which I live and hope to die a faithful member. I desire that any monies left by me be given for Masses for my Soul and that of my late Sister Catherine Ellard.
I give and bequeath to Edward M. J. Norris my house in Barnes Road, consisting of two Tenements No. 72 & No 72 ½. I have one surviving sister Mrs Anne Goodchild now residing in St. John’s and she has no claim on the above property. I appoint the Rev. D O’Callaghan of the Diocese of St. John’s my Executor. Mary J Ellard. In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand this 11^th day of March 1912 at St. John’s N.F.l.D. in presence of the undersigned witnesses who have each signed in presence of each other William R.
