NEWFOUNDLAND, } D AFFIDAVIT. You shall swear that you believe this to be the true last Will and Testament of Elizabeth Wilcox late of Brigus in the Northern District widow deceased You shall swear that you will pay all the Debts and Legacies of the Deceased, so far as the Goods shall extend and the Law shall bind you; and that you will exhibit a true, full, and perfect Inventory of all and every the Goods, Rights and Credits of the deceased together with a just and true account into the Registry of the Supreme Court of Newfoundland, when you shall be lawfully called thereto: And you shall further swear that the whole of the Goods, Rights, Chattels, Assets, Credits, and Effects of the said Elizabeth Wilcox deceased, and of which she died possessed, do not, according to the best of your knowledge, judgment and belief, amount to the value of Five Hundred Dollars So help you God. This the last Will and Testament of me Elizabeth Wilcox, wife of Samuel Wilcox of Brigus, Conception Bay NfLand, First I will and bequeath to my son Moses Wilcox my full share of debenture, willed to me by my late Father Isaac Clark, of which Moses Clark is Executor, - and also all interest arising from the same as it becomes due for his sole use and benefit, Second, Should my son Moses, not live and leave lawful issue It's my wish and desire that the said debenture, and interest should become the property of Lorry Andrews - daughter of William Andrews of Brigus - and Norah Norman daughter of Munden Norman of Brigus my niece, ___ Third, I will and bequeath all my clothers and hearsay apparel to my sisters - Marin Norman and Susannah Andrews - share and share alike I will and desire my son Moses to erect a head stone to my memory from interest money earned from my late Fathers Estate ___ I hereby appoint Caleb Clarke Executor of this my last Will In Witness thereof I hereby sign my name & set my seal at Brigus this 8th day of December AD1882 _ In presene of us, Elizabeth her X mark Wilcox (LS)

Newfoundland Northern District Caleb Clarke of Brigus Master Mariner maketh oath and saith that on the 8th day of December AD one thousand eight hundred and eighty two - at Brigus he this Deponent was present and did see Elizabeth Wilcox late of Brigus the Testatrix named in the paper writing hereunto annexed duly sign by making her mark publish and declare the said annexed paper writing as for her last Will and Testament, in the presence of this Deponent and of John Wilcox the other subscribing witness thereto. That Deponent and John Wilcox then and their signed their names to ??ch will as such Witnesses in the presence of the said testatrix and of each other. That previously to the said will being ?? signed as aforesaid by the said Testatrix and said Witnesses ??? ??? ??? to and approved of by the said Testatrix in the presence of Deponent and the said John Wilcox, and that at the time of the said Execution of said Will the said testatrix was of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding, to the best of this Deponents Knowledge and belief __ Sworn before me
