THE PETITION

of Mona Francis Rooney, of the City of St. John's, in the Province of Newfoundland, Canada, Widow

HUMBLEY SHEWETH THAT:

1.           Emma Beatrice Howell, late of the City of St. John's, in the Province of Newfoundland, Canada, spinster, died at St. John's, in the Province of Newfoundland, on or about the 21^st day of April, A.D., 1984, without having previously made her Last Will and Testament.
2. The said Emma Beatrice Howell left her surviving the following next-of-kin, and no others, namely:
   (1) her sister, Margaret Louise Turner, of the City of Ottawa, in the Province of Ontario, Canada.
   (2) her brother, William James Howell, of the City of Corner Brook, in the Province of Newfoundland.
   (3) her sister, your Petitioner.
3.           The inventory annexed hereto marked "A" contains a full and true inventory and valuation of the Estate and effects of the said Emma Beatrice Howell at the time of her death, so far as your Petitioner is at present able to ascertain.
4.           Neither Letters of Probate of any Will nor of Administration of the Estate of said Emma Beatrice Howell have been applied for by, or granted forth out of this Honourable Court to, anyone.
5.           Annexed hereto and marked "B" is a form of consent from next-of-kin, resident in the Province of Newfoundland to the granting of letters Administration to the Estate.

Your Petitioner humbly prays that your Lordship may be pleased to grant to the Registrar of the Supreme Court of Newfoundland, Letters of Administration of the Estate and effects of the said Emma Beatrice Howell.

CONSENT

          I, William James Howell, of Corner Brook aforesaid, brother of Emma Beatrice Howell, late of St. John's aforesaid, deceased, who died at that place on the 21^st day of April, A.D., 1984, intestate, do hereby consent to the granting of Letters of Administration to the Estate of the said deceased to the Registrar of the Supreme Court of Newfoundland.
