1929 Estate File Petition
for
John Power

 

To the Honourable the Supreme Court or one
of the Honourable the Judges thereof.

The Petition of Martin Power of Paradise, Merchant.

HUMBLY SHEWETH;

  1. John Power late of Paradise aforesaid, planter, died there on or about the 14th day of February 1925 intestate.
  2. The said intestate left him surviving as sole next of kin your petitioner, his son.
  3. A just full and true inventory and valuation of the property of the intestate at the time of his death situate within the jurisdiction of your Honourable Court and as far as your petitioner can at present ascertain are set forth in the paper-writing hereto annexed marked "A".
  4. No letters of Administration to the estate of nor Letters of Probate of any Will of the said John Power have issued from your Honourable Court.

Your petitioner prays that Letters of Administration to the estate of the said John Power be granted to him and as in duty bound will ever pray do.

Dated this 4th day of February 1929.
