          To the Honourable the Supreme Court or one of the Honourable the Judges thereof:-
          The petition of Jabez(^P) Thompson, of Brigus, Stipendiary Magistrate, humbly sets forth as follows:-

  1.           Francis Howell, late of Green's Harbor, in the electoral district of Trinity, Fisherman, died at that place on the 28th day of March, A.D. 1885, intestate.
  2.            The said deceased left him surviving as sole next of kin his widow, Sarah Jane Howell, since deceased, and five children, namely, Frederick Howell, Leah Manderson, wife of James Manderson, of Brigus, Mary Jane Anthony, wife of William Anthony, of St. John's, Sarah Crocker, wife of Stephen Henry Crocker, of Hearts Delight, and William Howell, who died on the 8th day of July, A.D. 1904, intestate, leaving a widow, Rosanna Howell, but no children.
  3.           Hereto annexed marked "A" is a paper writing signed by the said Leah Manderson, Mary Jane Anthony and Sarah Crocker, whereby they signify their consent to letters of administration to the estate of the said deceased being granted to your petitioner.
  4.           At the date of his death the said deceased was possessed of property within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court of a value not exceeding the sum of $400.00, as will more fully appear by reference to the inventory

          Your petitioner therefore prays that letters of administration to the estate and effects of the said deceased may be granted to him: And as in duty bound he will ever pray.
          Dated at St. John'sBrigus JPT this tenth day of July, A.D. 1912.

  1.           I am the petitioner in the petition hereto annexed for letters of administration to the estate and effects of Francis Howell, late of Green's Harbor, Fisherman, deceased.
  2.           The several maters and things therein contained, together with the papers thereto annexed marked "A" and "B" respectively, are just, correct and true, to the best of my knowledge and belief.

In the Estate of Francis Howell, late of Green's Harbor, in the electoral district of Trinity, Fisherman

DECEASED.

I Jabez P Thompson
of  Brigus, in the Electoral District of Port de Grave in the Island of Newfoundland, Stipendiary Magistrate, make oath and say, that
Francis Howell
late of Green's Harbor in the Electoral District of Trinity in the Island aforesaid, Fisherman deceased, died intestate; that I will well and faithfully administer the estate and effects of the said deceased, by paying his just debts and distributing the residue of his estate and effects, according to law; that I will exhibit a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the said estate and effects, and render a just and true account thereof whenever required by law so to do; that the said deceased died at Green's Harbor, aforesaid, on the 28th day of March One thousand Eight hundred and Eighty-five; and that the gross value of the said estate and effects of the deceased is Four Hundred dollars and no more according to the best of my knowledge, information and belief.
