Notice
Three days from the date hereof, application will be made to
the Honourable, the Supreme Court, or one of the Honourable
the Judges thereof for Letters of Administration to the Estate
and effects of Thomas Carew late of Broad Cove, Bonavista
Bay, fisherman, deceased, to be granted to Thomas Carew of the same place son of said deceased.

TO THE HONOURABLE THE SUPREME
COURT OR ONE OF THE HONOURABLE THE JUDGES THEREOF.
The Petition of Thomas Carew of Broad Cove. Bonavista Bay, in the Island of Newfoundland, fisherman, humbly sheweth as follows,
That Thomas Carew, late of Broad Cove aforesaid, fisherman, deceased, died at the above place about forty four years ago intestate, leaving him surviving a widow and three children, two sons, and your Petitioner, and one daughter.
That the widow of the said Thomas Carew, has been for the past ten years an inmate of the Lunatic Asylum and is unable to transact any business.
That the other son, Lawrence, is now suffering from mental disorder and has been confined to his house for nearly one year.
That at the time of his death the said deceased was possessed of property within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, situate at Broad Cove aforesaid, and consisting of land and dwellings, of the probable value of $400 as set forth in inventory hereto attached marked "A".
That no division of the said property has taken place between the said parties, and no administration granted to any person.
Petitioner therefore prays that administration to the Estate of the said Thomas Carew may be granted to Petitioner and as in duty bound he will ever pray.
