1899 Estate File Petition
for
James O'Neil

 

To the Honorable the Supreme Court
or to one of the Honorable the Judges thereof.

The petition Ann O'Neil of St. John's Widow
Respectfully sheweth as follows:

  1. James O' Neil late of St. John's Cooper deceased husband of Petitioner died there on the 6th day of April last intestate.

  2. The said deceased left him surviving his Widow your Petitioner and six children namely: Mary Ellen Murphy wife of W. K. Murphy of St. John's, Katie wife of Thomas Moakler of St. John's, John, Francis, Richard and William the last four named are minors and are living with your Petitioner.

  3. The said deceased at the time of his death was possessed of property of the probable value of $2000.00.

  4. No probate of Will or letters of administration of the Estate of said deceased have been previously applied for.

Your Petitioner therefore prays that letters of administration of the estate of said deceased may be granted to her.

And as in duty bound will ever pray.
