AFFIDAVIT In the Supreme Court of Newfoundland NEWFOUNDLAND So help me God Sworn before me, at St. Johns Geo. I. Adams
1895 Estate of John L. O'Dwyer Probate granted to Dated 5th February 1895 Estate sworn under $11,000.00
This is the last Will of me John O'Dwyer of Saint Johns, Newfoundland, Commission Merchant. I devise and bequeath all my estate and effects real and personal which I may die possessed of or entitled to unto my wife Edith Livingstone O'Dwyer absolutely and I appoint her my sole Executrix under this my Will, James Cox? A??
Supreme Court of Newfoundland To Wit I James P. Fox of Saint Johns Gentleman make oath and say that on the 20th day of January A.D. One Thousand Eight Hundred and ninety five at Saint John's I was present and did see John L. O'Dwyer late of Saint Johns Commission Merchant the Testator named in the paper writing hereunto annexed duly sign publish and declare the said annexed paper writing Marked A as and for his last Will and Testament, in the presence of me and of Charles Duder the other subscribing witness thereto. That I and said Charles Duder then and there signed our names to such Will as such witnesses, in the presence of the said Testator and of each other and that at the time of the said execution of the said Will the said Testator was of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding, to the best of Deponent's knowledge and belief. Certificate I hereby certify the within notice was duly posted in this office from the day of the date thereof until this date and no caveat or other objection has been entered thereto. St. Johns July 2/95 Geo, I. Adams
Notice Three days from the date hereof
application will be made to the Supreme
Court or one of the Honorable the Judges
thereof for Probate to the last will
and testament of John L. O'Dwyer late of Saint Johns Commission
Merchant deceased to be granted
to Edith Livingstone O'Dwyer the
Executrix named in the said will. ?? Morris
To the Honorable the Supreme Court or to one of the Honorable the Judges thereof. The Petition of the undersigned Edith Livingstone O'Dwyer of St. Johns in the Island of Newfoundland widow of the late John L. O'Dwyer Humbly Sheweth That John L. O'Dwyer late of St. Johns aforesaid Merchant died on Sunday the 20th day of January instant having previously made his last will and testament.
