1895 Estate of Susannah Kitchin Admin granted to Dated 6th November 1895 Sureties Jeremiah Hartery Estate sworn under $200.00 After the recent posting of this will, we received the following information from Geoff Martin June 2018. Here is a daughter of George KITCHEN and Susan KITCHEN nee WEBBER. PRE 1891 REGISTRATION RECORDS As per the above will That the said late Susannah Kitchin left surviving her as next of kin seven children; viz; John George, Jesse, Anna, Emmanuel? Caroline, Elizabeth and your Petitioner. I can confirm from my research John Cowan Kitchen = John Ann Hamutal KITCHEN married William ADAMS. So in the transcription of the signatories, Hamulal? Adams is the daughter Ann Hamutal. In the 1921 census for Harbour Grace Eastside, the census taker was most definitely handicapped with numbers as the DOBs for William and wife were off by at least a decade. NB that wife Hamutal written as Amutal has been transcribed as Annabal. Newfoundland 1921 Census PAGE 81 In the 1935 census the name is transcribed correctly much to the surprise of the transcriber who thought the name was not correct. Newfoundland's 1935 Provincial Census Thank you so much, Geoff, for providing the additional information on this family.
