To the Honorable The Supreme Court or to one of the Honorable Judges thereof

          The Petition of Thomas Fagan of St. Johns - Laborer - and Administrator of the Estate of the late Mary Joseph Fagan

Humbly Sheweth

          That your Petitioners wife died some time in August (1894) last and Administration to her Estate was taken out on the sixth day of February A.D. 1895
That Petitioner's wife inherited the property from one Johanna Fitzgerald and after her death it was to go to her oldest female Child Mary Joseph Fagan who is now entitled to her mother's share -
That the tenant of said property is Mr. Thomas Keating of St. Johns - Publican - who pays an annual rent of One hundred and seventy five Dollars and sixty eight cents ($175.68).
That your Petitioner and his said Daughter Mary Joseph Fagan - to whom the said rents are now due - are desirous of obtaining a Loan? as an advance of the said rents - and before such can be affected it has been deemed advisable and necessary that Letters of Guardianship

 

should be taken out for the said Mary Joseph Fagan who is only Fifteen years of age.
          Your Petitioner therefore prays that Letters of Guardianship may be granted to Alexander J. W. McNeily Esq. Q.C. Chief Clerk and Registrar of the Supreme Court - till? the said Mary Joseph Fagan is of age - and as in duty bound he will ever pray -
