In the Supreme Court of Newfoundland.

NEWFOUNDLAND,   } I, Sylvester William Cornick
St John's To WIT:          } of St John's in the Central District, Accountant do swear that I believe this to be the true Last Will and Testament of Sarah T. White late of St John's aforesaid, Married Woman deceased. I ----------------------------------- do further swear that I will pay all the Debts and Legacies of the said deceased so far as her Goods shall extend, and the law shall bind me, and that I will exhibit a full, true and perfect Inventory of all and every the Goods, Rights and Credits of the deceased, together with a just and true account into the Registry of the Supreme Court of Newfoundland, when I shall be lawfully called thereto. And I do further swear that the whole of the Goods, Rights, Chattels, Assets, Credits and Effects of the said Sarah T. White, deceased, and of which she died possessed, do not, according to the best of my knowledge, judgment and belief, amount to the value of five thousand five hundred dollars -------

To Wit.          } I Charles H Hutchings of St JohnS aforesaid Solicitor make oath and say that on the Thirtieth day of June A. D. One Thousand Eight Hundred and Ninety Four at St JohnS aforesaid I was present and did see Sarah Taylor White late of St JohnS Aforesaid wife of Capt Wm White the Testatrix named in the paper writing hereunto annexed, duly sign, publish and declare the said annexed paper writing, marked A as and for her last Will and Testa-ment in the presence of me and of S W Cornick the other subscribing witness thereto. That I and said S.W. Cornick then and there signed our names to such Will as witnesses, in presence of the said Testatrix and of each other, and at the time of the said execu-tion of the said Will the said Testatrix was of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding, to the best of my knowledge and belief.

I give and bequeath to my beloved - husband the said William White all the property of which I may die possessed of every nature and kind whatsoever--------
I hereby appoint S. William Cornick of St Johns aforesaid Accountant Executor hereto_____

The Petition of S William Cornick of St JohnS in the Island of Newfoundland accountant.

Humbly Sheweth

  1. That Sarah Taylor White late of St JohnS aforesaid wife of William White Master Mariner died on the Twenty Eighth day of July 1894 having made and published her last Will and Testament hereto annexed Marked "A" proved in common form.

  2. That the said deceased was possessed at the time of her death of property of the probable value of Five Thousand Dollars

  3. That the said Sarah Taylor White left her surviving her husband the said William White, one son William, and Three daughterS Frances wife of Geor C Pippy Martha wife of Your Petitioner and Charlotte wife of Henry L. Payne

  4. That in and by her said last Will and Testament the said Testatrix appointed Your Petitioner

  5. That no Probate or Administration has been granted to any Will or to the Estate of the said Sarah Taylor White

--- Your Petitioner therefore prays that Probate of the said Will be granted to him forth of this ------- Honourable Court and as in duty bound he Will ever pray &c &c &c
