In the Supreme Court of Newfoundland.

NEWFOUNDLAND,       }
St John's     To WIT:          } We, George Keppel White at present of St Johns Telegraph Operator (G.I.A.) at Burgeo in the Southern District (G.I.A.) and Arthur M. White of St Johns, Land Surveyor do swear that we believe this to be the true Last Will and Testament of Sarah Ann White late of St John's, Widow, deceased. We do further swear that we will pay all the Debts and Legacies of the said deceased so far as her Goods shall extend, and the law shall bind us, and that we will exhibit a full, true and perfect Inventory of all and every the Goods, Rights and Credits of the deceased, together with a just and true account into the Registry of the Supreme Court of Newfoundland, when we shall be lawfully called thereto. And we do further swear that the whole of the Goods, Rights, Chattels, Assets, Credits and Effects of the said Sarah Ann White, deceased, and of which she died possessed, do not, according to the best of our knowledge, judgment and belief, amount to the value of five thousand two hundred dollars

So help us God.

Notice

After three days application will be made to the Supreme Court or one of the Honourable Judges thereof for letters of probate of the will of Sarah Anne White late of St John's widow deceased to be granted to George Keppel White, Frederic Hill White and Arthur M. White the executors named in the said will.

          The petition of George Keppel White of Burgeo Newfoundland, Telegraph Operator, and Arthur Martineau White of St John's aforesaid, Surveyor.

Humbly sheweth

That your petitioners' late mother Sarah Anne White late of St John's aforesaid Widow died at St John's on the sixteenth day of March instant having previously made and published her last will and testament which is hereto annexed.
By her said will she appointed your petitioners and their brother Frederic Hill White executors thereof.
The said Frederic Hill White resides at St. Pierre Miquelon
The Estate of the said Sarah Anne White at her decease did not exceed the sum of five thousand - in value.
No letters of administration of her Estate or probate of said will have been granted.
Your petitioners pray that (reserving the rights of the said Frederic Hill White) the said will be admitted to probate and your petitioners Submitted with the execution thereof, and as in duty bound they will pray.

          This is the last will and testa-ment of me Sarah Anne White of St Johns Newfoundland widow and I hereby revoke all former wills by me made. I give devise and bequeath all my estate of what kind soever of which I shall die possessed (except as heresoafter men-tioned) to such of my children as shall survive me to be divided among them in equal parts or shares. In case I shall die before the maturity of the insurance in the Connecticut Mutual Company on the life of my son Frederic whatsoever(?), the proceeds of which insurance belong to me, it is my desire that he shall continue to pay the premiums thereof and that he be repaid out of the proceeds of the insurance the sums so to be paid by him and I give devise and bequeath the net proceeds of the said insurance to such of my children as shall survive at such maturity to be divided among them in equal parts or shares. I make the following special bequests:-
to my son George the picture of his grandfather ----------- White also the picture of the Crucifixion: to my daughter Augusta my watch and chain: to my daughter Emily my needlework: to my daughter Fanny my furs. My wearing apparel to be equally divided among my three youngest daughters. I give devise and bequeath

my land at Harbour Britan to my son George. I appoint my sons George Keppel White, Frederic Hills White, and Arthur Martineau White executors of this my will. In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name at St John's aforesaid this fourth day of December Anno Domini eigh-teen hundred and ninety-three.

Johnson, of St John's aforesaid, Queen's Counsel, make oath and say that on the fourth day of December Anno Domini eighteen hun-dred and ninety three at St. John's afore-said I was present and did see Sarah Anne White the testatrix named in the paper-writing hereto annexed (marked A signed by my initials) sign publish and declare the said paper-writing as and for her last will and testament in my presence and in the presence of James J. McGrath of St John's aforesaid student as law the other subscribing witness thereto. That I and the said James J. McGrath then and there signed our names to such will as such witnesses in the presence of the said testatrix and of Each other. That at the time when she so signed the said will the testatrix was of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding to the best of my knowledge and belief
