Notice Three days from date hereof application will be made to the Honorable the Supreme Court or one of the Honorable the Judges thereof for Letters of administration cum testament annexo to the Estate of William Pomeroy of Brigus in the Northern District Planter deceased to be granted St. John's February 17th A.D. 1894
To the Honorable the Supreme The Petition of George Pomeroy of Brigus in the Northern District Fisherman Humbly Sheweth 1 That William Pomeroy of Brigus in the Northern District Planter father of petitioner died at Brigus aforesaid on or about the 1st day of June A.D. 1893 having previously made and executed his last will and Testament which is hereto annexed marked 'A' and proved in common form by John James Smith one of the subscribing witnesses thereto 2 The said deceased left him as surviving his wife Anne Pomeroy and three children namely your petitioner Susannah Percy wife of George Percy of St John's and Elizabeth Jeans wife of James Jeans of Brigus afore-said 3 The said William Pomeroy appointed George Smith of Brigus aforesaid Merchant and Henry Roberts of same place carpenter Executors of his said will. 4 The said George Smith and Henry Roberts have duly renounced their claims as Executors to said Will as will appear by reference Page 2 to the affidavits hereto annexed marked 'B' and 'C' 5 The said deceased was at the time of his death possessed of property of the probable value of One thousand four hundred dollars 6 That no Probate or Letters of administration have been previously applied for 7 Your petitioner therefore prays that Letters of Administration cum testament annexo of the Estate of said deceased be granted to him. And as in duty bound he will ever pray St John's March 1st A.D. 1894

In the Supreme Court Newfoundland John James Smith of Brigus Dealer maketh Oath and Saith that on the second day of June AD 1880, he was present and saw William Pomeroy late of Brigus, Planter, the within named Testator sign the paper writing herein written, by making his mark, as for his last Will and Testament, the same having been read over and Explained to him the Said Testator, and approved of by him, in the presence of this Deponent and John Wilcox the other subscribing Witness thereto. That Deponent and John Wilcox then and there subscribed their names to such Will, as such Witnesses, in the presence of the said Testator and of each other, and at the time of the said Execution of the said Will the said Testator was of Sound and deposing mind memory and understanding to the best of this Deponents Knowledge and belief -
'A' This is the last Will and Testament of me William Pomeroy of Brigus Conception Bay Newfoundland Planter and Thereby revoke all Wills heretofore made by me and declare this to be my only last Will and Testament.

Supreme Court of Newfoundland. Be it Remembered, That on this 8th day of March in the 57th Year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lady VICTORIA, by the Grace of God, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, QUEEN, Defender of the Faith, &c., and in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Ninety-four personally appeared George Pomeroy at present of St John's, Fisherman, William C. Job of St John's Merchant and Fenwick Crane of St John's Accountant ---------------------------- and did acknowledge themselves to be held and firmly bound to our said Sovereign Lady the Queen, Her Heirs and Successors, in the penal sum of Three thousand dollars to be had, made, and levied on their Goods, Chattels, and Effects jointly and severally if default is made in the Conditions following:- Now the Condition Of this Obligation is such, that if the above bounden George Pomeroy as Administrator Cum testament annexo of the Estate and Effects of William Pomeroy late of Brigus Conception Bay Planter deceased, do make, or cause to be made, a just, true and perfect Inventory of all and singular, the Goods, Credits and Effects of the said deceased, which have or shall come to the hands, possession, or knowledge of him the said George Pomeroy as such Administrator or to the hands or possession of any other person or persons, for him and the same so made do exhibit, or cause to be exhibited, into the Supreme Court of Newfoundland, at or before the 8th day of September next ensuing the date hereof; and the said Goods, Chattels, Credits and Effects, and all other the Goods, Chattels, Credits and Effects of the said deceased, at the time of his death, or which at any time afterwards, shall come to the hands or possession of him the said George Pomeroy or to the hands or possession of any other person or persons for him shall well and truly administer according to Law, and further shall make, or cause to be made, a just and true account of his said Administration, on or before the 8th day of March which will be in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Ninety-five and afterwards from time to time, as he shall be lawfully required. And all the rest, residue, and remainder of the said Goods, Chattels, Credits and effects, which shall be found remaining upon the said Adminis-tration account, the same being examined and allowed by the said Supreme Court of Newfoundland, shall and do pay and dispose of in a due course of Administration, or in such manner as the said Court shall direct;---then this Obligation to be void and of no effect, or else to be and remain in full force and virtue.
