AFFIDAVIT. In the Supreme Court of Newfoundland. NEWFOUNDLAND, } I, Edward P. Morris of St John's So help me God. Sworn before me, at St John's } Geo. I. Adams
1894 Estate of John Neagle Probate granted to Dated 13th March 1894 Estate sworn under $150000
I hereby certify that the within notice was duly posted in the office of the Chief Clerk and Registrar from The day of the date thereof until this date and that no caveat or other objection has been Entered Thereto
Notice I give notice that I will outtio(?) execution(?) of three days from the date hereof apply to the Supreme Court for probate to the will of John Nagle late of Saint Johns victualler deceased to be granted to the Hon E.P. Morris the executor named in the said will.
This is the last will and testament of me John Nagle of Saint Johns victualer made this 10th day of February AD 1894. I give devise and bequeath to Patrick green of Saint Johns Pulster(?) residing Corner Adelaide St. the sum of two hundred dollars. To Mrs. Ellen Morrisey with whom I now reside the sume of one hundred dollars and also my bed and bedding. I desire that my Executor shall devote one hundred dollars towards my funeral Expenses and one hundred dollars for The celebration of masses for my soul. If after the said sums are paid any amount still remains in the hands of my Executor I give devise and bequeath the said sum to the above parties to be divided amonst them in the same proportion as the above sums. I appoint Hon E.P. Morris Executor of this very will. John Nagle

To the Honorable the Supreme Court or one of the Honorable the judges Thereof. The petition of Edward P Morris of Saint Johns Barrister at law humbly sheweth as follows That John Nagle late of Saint Johns in the island of Newfoundland victualer died at the above place on the 11th day of February AD 1894 having previously made his last will and testament which is hereto annexed proven upon the oath of William Morris one of the subscribing witnesses Thereto. That previous to his death deceased was possessed of properties in jurisdiction of this Court of the probable value of fifteen hundred dollars. That under the said will your petitioner was appointed Executor. That no probate to any will or letters of administration has as yet been granted to any person Petitioner therefore prays that Probate of the said will may be granted to him and as in duty bound he will Ever pray
