Be it Remembered, That on this 28^th day of July in the Fifty-Eighth Year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lady VICTORIA, by the Grace of God, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, QUEEN, Defender of the Faith, &c., and in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Ninety-four

Personally appeared Bridget Mary Feehan of St. John's in the Central District of Newfoundland Widow of the late Peter Feehan John Geary of St. John's Cooper and James Aylward of St. John's Farmer ---------------------------------------------------------- and did acknowledge themselves to be held and firmly bound to our said Sovereign Lady the Queen, Her Heirs and Successors, in the penal sum of Two thousand five hundred dollars to be had, made, and levied on their Goods, Chattels, and Effects jointly and severally if default is made in any of the Conditions following:--

Now the Condition of this Obligation is such, that if the above bounded Bridget Mary Feehan— shall duly and faithfully act as Guardian of the Estate and Effects of Mary, Pierce, Catherine, William and John Feehan

Minors under the age of twenty-one years, and shall and do pay and dispose of such Estate in such manner as the said Court shall direct, then this obligation to be void and of no effect, or else to be and remain in full force and virtue.

          The petition of Bridget Mary Feehan of St. John's aforesaid widow of the late Peter Feehan heretofore of St. John's aforesaid carpenter

Humbly Sheweth

1          That your petitioner's late husband the said Peter Feehan died in Boston in The United States of America on the twenty eighth day of February last intestate.
2          That by the will of their aunt Theresa Feehan late of St. Johns aforesaid spinster ------- deceased the six children of your petitioner and of the said late Peter Feehan became entitled to four shares of the Commercial Bank of Newfoundland in equal shares.
3           By letters of guardianship dated the 20^th day of February 1892 the said late Peter Feehan was by your Hon-ourable Court appointed guardian of the estate of the said six children.
4           The said four Bank shares are yet unt???? and are held by Mr Henry Cooke for the said children
5           Your petitioner's late daughter Theresa died on the sixth day of June 1893 aged nine years
6           The remaining children are now of the following ages respectively:-
Mary

Mary aged 19 years (nineteen)
Pierce aged 17 years (seventeen)
Catherine aged 13 years (thirteen)
William aged 11 years (eleven)
John aged 5 years (five)
          Your petitioner humbly prays that letters of guardianship may be granted to her in respect of the estate of the said five surviving children in the said four shares
          and as in duty bound will pray
