Saint John's To WIT:   }

          We do swear that we believe this to be the true Last Will and Testament of Patrick Farrell late of Saint John's in the Central District Chandler deceased we -------------------------- do further swear that we will pay all the Debts and Legacies so far as his Goods shall extend, and the law shall bind us; and that we will exhibit a full, true and perfect Inventory for all and every the Goods, Rights and Credits of the deceased, together with a just and true account into the Registry of the Supreme Court of Newfoundland, when we shall be lawfully called thereto. And we do further swear that the whole of the Goods, Rights, Chattels, Assets, Credits and Effects of the said Patrick Farrell, deceased, and of which he died possessed, do not, according to the best of our knowledge, judg-ment and belief, amount to the value of Seven Thousand dollars

So help our GOD.

Three days from the Date hereof application will be made to the Honorable the Supreme Court or to one of the Honorable the Judges thereof for Probate of thewill of Patrick Farrell late of St. John's deceased to be granted to the Executors therein named

This is the last will and testament of me Patrick Farrell of St. John's in the Island of Newfoundland I hereby revoke all wills by me at any time heretofore made. I appoint Hon. John Harris and Michael Connors of St. John's to be my Executors and direct that all my just debts and funeral and testamentary Expenses shall be paid as soon as conveniently may be after my death. I give devise and bequeath unto my brother Thomas Farrell all my right title and interest in and to those houses and shops on Duckworth St and that house and shop on Water St in St. John's and also all the Estate Property, goods chattels moneys and Effects of what nature or kind forever and of which I may die possessed.
To witness whereof I the said Patrick Farrell have to this my last will and testament set my name this twelfth day of April in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred and ninety two.

make oath and say that on the Twelfth day of April A.D., One Thousand Eight Hundred and Ninety-two at St. John's ------------------------ I was present and did see Patrick Farrell late of St. John's chandler the Testator named in the paper writing hereunto annexed, duly sign, publish and declare the said annexed paper writing, as and for his last Will and Testament in my presence, and in the presence of Patrick Kelly the other subscribing witness thereto. That I and said Patrick Kelly then there signed our names to such Will as such witnesses, in the presence of the said Testator and of each other and that at the time of the said execution of the said Will the said Testator was of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding, to the best of my knowledge and belief.

Humbly Sheweth

That Patrick Farrell late of St. John's aforesaid Chandler deceased died at St. John's on the 25th day of December 1893 having previously made his last will and testament which is hereto annexed proven by the oath of Martin W. Furlong of St. John's Solicitor one of the subscribing witnesses thereto
That your petitioners were appointed executors of the said last will and testament.
That at the time of his death the said Patrick Farrell was possessed of land and other property of the probable value of Seven Thousand dollars.
Your petitioners therefore pray that Probate of the will of the said Patrick Farrell may be granted to them and as in duty bound will ever pray &c &c &c
