The Petition of Louisa Canning concerning the Estate of William Canning To the Honourable the Supreme Court or to one of the Honourable the Judges Thereof The Petition of Louisa I(?) Canning of St John's in the Island of That your Petitioners husband the late William I(?) Canning of St John's aforesaid, Landing Waiter in Her Majesty's Customs deceased died on the first day of February last leaving your Petitioner his widow and three children, namely May, Alfred and William all within the age of Twenty One years. That the said infant children have an interest in certain life insurance policies effected upon the life of the said William I Canning which policies are included in the general Estate of which Petitioner has been already appointed Administration but that in order to give a release and discharge in effect of the ????? . It is necessary that Letters of Guardianship to the Estate of the said infants should be issued. Your Petitioner therefore prays that Letters of Guardianship to the Estate of the said several infants be issued to her. And Petitioner as in duty bound will ever pray be Louisa L (?) Canning
