Charles Crowdy Estate of Charles Crowdy 1889 NEWFOUNDLAND AFFIDAVIT. You shall swear that you believe this to be the true last Will and Testament of the Hon. Charles Crowdy late of St. John's in the Central District of Newfoundland, Physician and Surgeon, deceased. You shall swear that you will pay all the Debts and Legacies of the Deceased, so far as the Goods shall extend and the Law shall bind you; and that you will exhibit a true, full and perfect Inventory of all and every the Goods, Rights and Credits of the deceased, together with a just and true account into the Registry of the Supreme Court of Newfoundland, when you shall be lawfully called thereto: And you shall further swear that the whole of the Goods, Rights, Chattels, Assets, Credits, and Effects of the said Hon. Charles Crowdy, deceased, and of which he died possessed, do not, according to the best of your knowledge, judgment and belief, amount to the value of Nine Thousand Dollars. So help you God. Sworn before me, at St. John's
Estate of Charles Crowdy Dated 25th March 1889 Probate granted to Estate sworn under $9000.00
I certify that the within written notice was duly posted up in the Office of the Clerk of the Court
on the day of the date thereof and has since that date remained as posted up and further that no caveat or other objection has been thereto entered.

Notice After three days application will be made to the Supreme Court or one of the Honourable Judges thereof for letters of probate of the Will of the Honourable Charles Crowdy, late of St. John's, Physician, deceased to be granted to Julia Crowdy of St. John's Executrix named in said will.
To the Honourable the Supreme Court of The Petition of Julia Crowdy of St John's aforesaid, widow Humbly Sheweth That your Petitioner's husband Charles Crowdy late of St. John's aforesaid, Physician and Surgeon, departed this life on the fourteenth day of March instant having previously made his last Will and Testament hereto annexed by which he appointed your Petitioner executrix thereof. A This is the last Will and Testament of me Charles Crowdy of St. John's, Newfoundland, surgeon. I give devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife all my Estate moneys and effects whatsoever and all proceeds of my life insurance to have and enjoy the annual interest and proceeds thereof during her life and on her decease the principal sum shall be divided equally between my unmarried daughters and in case either of my said daughters shall marry, the principal sum shall then go to my unmarried daughter and in case both of my daughters shall marry, the said principal sum shall be divided equally between my three daughters or such of them as shall survive at the marriage of my daughter who shall last marry. I appoint my said wife executrix of this my Will. Signed, published and declared by the Charles Crowdy
