Newfoundland AFFIDAVIT You shall swear that you believe this to be the true Last Will and Testament of Edwin H. Saville late of St. Johns General Manager of the Newfoundland Railway. You shall swear that you will pay all the Debts and Legacies of the Deceased, so far as the Goods shall extend and the Law shall bind you: and that you will exhibit a true, full and perfect Inventory of all and every the Goods, Rights and Credits of the deceased, together with a just and true account into the Registry of the Supreme Court of Newfoundland, when you shall be lawfully called thereto: And you shall further swear that the whole of the Goods, Rights, Chattels, Assets, Credits and Effects of the said Edwin H. Saville Deceased, and of which he died possessed, do not according to the best of your knowledge, judgment and belief, amount to the value of ??? thousand ??? To the honorable the Supreme Court or to one of the honorable Judges thereof. The Petition of Robert J. Kent of St. Johns Solicitor Humbly Sheweth That Edwin H. Saville of St. Johns General Manager of the Newfoundland Railway died there on the seventh day of November Anno Domini 1888 having first made and executed his last will and testament as hereto annexed which said will had been proved in common form. That the said Testator left no next of kin him surviving in Newfoundland. That he died possessed of property situate within the Jurisdiction of this Honorable Court to the probable value of about Eleven thousand four hundred dollars. That in and by his said will he nominated and appointed your petitioner as executor thereof. That no probate or administration of the Estate of the said deceased has hitherto been granted. Your petitioner therefore prays that probate of the said will be granted to him In the Supreme Court In the matter of the Will

SUPREME COURT OF NEWFOUNDLAND St. Johns } Sworn before me, at St. John's Robert J. Kent Geo. I. Adams
I Edwin H. Saville of St. John's General Manager of the Newfoundland Railway do make publish and declare this as and for my last will and testament. First I direct that all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses shall be paid. Second, I give and bequeath to Mrs. Rebecca Jane Taylor my house keeper now living with me all my household furniture and effects in the house in which I now live. to be taken by her for her own use and in addition to ten months wages at ten dollars per month now due by me to her. Third, I give and bequeath to my wife Eleanor A Saville now of Concord in the State of New Hampshire all the rest residue and remainder of my goods, money property and effects whatsoever and wheresoever situate. Fourth, I appoint Robert J. Kent of St. Johns Solicitor as executor of this my will and lastly I do hereby revoke all wills by me heretofore made.
